The kids are in school, there's a nip in the air, and the leaves are starting to change colors. That can only mean one thing - time to start planning for all of the holiday parties you'll be throwing or attending!
If you're like me, you have quite a bit of cooking on the horizon. Personally, I'm looking at Thanksgiving dinner, dessert, appetizers, Halloween treats for the kids' classrooms and for their party at home, and then Christmas. Christmas means more classroom treats, a baking/cooking party (which ironically requires refreshments for the guests), a cookie swap, numerous family get-togethers, Christmas dinner, and an open house between Christmas and New Year's. And yes, there's New Year's Eve to contend with as well.
Just the thought of all this can be overwhelming! I'll be sharing recipes and planning tips throughout the holiday season, and if you're stuck for an idea or need some encouragement in your holiday planning endeavors, you'll find support in our discussions forum, or drop me an e-mail. We'll get through it together!
