In response to 10 GUESTS. How many dishes should I have? posted by jayruiz:
Hi jayruiz!

It depends on what types of dishes you're serving. If you've got a basic main course, make enough for everyone and then add crusty bread or dinner rolls, a salad and/or soup, and then something for dessert.

If it's buffet-style, you might want to add a couple of different main dishes so your guests have a selection to choose from.

Does that help? Let me know the details and I'll see if I can help you out further.
